About the scholarship
The Clarendon Fund is the University of Oxford’s flagship graduate scholarship. It offers more than 200 new, fully funded scholarships every year to outstanding students in any subject.
What it covers
- Your full course fees
- A grant for living costs for the fee-paying period of your course
How to apply
- There is no separate scholarship application: apply for your Master’s or DPhil course at Oxford by its December or January deadline, and you are considered automatically
- Check the exact deadline on your course page, since it depends on the course
Good to know: selection is based on outstanding academic merit and potential, and it is very competitive. A strong application to the course itself is the most important step.
Who can apply
- Applicants to a new Master's or DPhil course at Oxford, any nationality
- English, as required by your course
- Documents: Your Oxford course application
What it covers
- Full course fees and a living-costs grant
