Italy Decreto Flussi 2027: 165,850 Work Places and the Click Day Dates
Italy has set 165,850 work places for 2027. Employers can pre-fill applications now, and the first click day is 12 January 2027. Before anyone asks you for money, see how it really works: the employer applies, not you.

The 2027 click days
A click day is the date from which employers can send the applications they pre-filled, from 9:00 Italian time. Dates from the joint circular of 1 October 2026.

Who applies: the employer, not you
Each year Italy decides how many non-EU workers may enter for work; the current decree covers 2026 to 2028. The employer fills in the application on the Interior Ministry’s ALI portal and sends it on the click day, directly or through a labour consultant or employers’ association. There is no form for a worker abroad to send.
So when someone offers you “Italy work visa, apply online”, they are at best collecting your documents for an employer, and at worst taking your money for an application that never happens. For the wider picture, see our Italy country page.

What happens after the click day
Places are limited, so applications sent on the day matter.
When the checks are finished, the employer has 15 days to confirm the request.
You apply at the Italian embassy or its visa centre in your country. Check the visa type on the Visa for Italy site.
Within 15 days of arriving, you and the employer sign the residence contract (contratto di soggiorno). For 2027 this is 15 days, up from 8.
This starts your residence permit (permesso di soggiorno) application.

NVConsult does not recruit, place or charge for jobs. Apply directly with the employer, and never pay anyone for a job offer. "No visa sponsorship" roles suit people who already have the right to work in that country, for example with an Opportunity Card or a graduate job-search permit.
These are real vacancies from Italian employers in the same fields as the 2027 quotas: farming, tourism, family care and construction. None of these adverts mentions visa sponsorship, so ask the employer whether they will file a Decreto Flussi application for you before you apply.
We add new Italian jobs regularly, so check back often, especially before the click days in January and February. You can also get a short email when an application window opens or closes: sign up for deadline alerts at the bottom of this page.

The employer gave you its full company name and Italian VAT number (partita IVA)
You found the company on the EU VAT checker

The employer will file the application on the ALI portal
You were told you can apply online yourself under the Decreto Flussi
Check any Italian company on the EU VAT checker. A real employer will not mind you asking.
Is your country included?
The decree names the countries whose citizens can use the quotas, and some places go to countries that have migration agreements with Italy. From 2027, Kenya is added to the list. Check your country on Italy’s integration portal, or with the Italian embassy, before you rely on this route.

Quick answers
Not under the Decreto Flussi. An employer in Italy applies for your work authorisation on the ALI portal. You apply for the visa at the embassy only after the nulla osta is issued.
12 January 2027 for seasonal farm work, 9 February for seasonal tourism, 16 February for non-seasonal jobs and 18 February for family care work, each from 9:00 Italian time.
165,850 in total: 76,200 for non-seasonal jobs (14,000 of them for family care), 89,000 for seasonal work and 650 for self-employment.
The visa fee is set by the Italian embassy, so check its fee page. Anything far above that is someone else’s charge, not a government fee.
No. The embassy still decides on the visa application.
Not automatically. None of these adverts mentions sponsorship. Under the Decreto Flussi only the employer can apply for your nulla osta, so ask them first.
